Peshawar Ring Road Project

Peshawar Development Authority

The Peshawar Ring Road Project is a major infrastructure development initiated by the Peshawar Development Authority to improve mobility, reduce traffic congestion and enhance regional connectivity across Peshawar. Designed as a strategic urban corridor, the ring road aims to divert heavy traffic away from city centers and provide smooth access between major highways, suburban areas and economic zones.

The project includes construction of wide dual carriageways, interchanges, flyovers, service roads and drainage systems, along with modern traffic management features. Its layout is planned to support efficient vehicular movement, reduce travel time and improve logistics for commercial and residential zones. The development is expected to ease pressure on inner city roads and support long term urban expansion.

PDA is developing the Peshawar Ring Road with a focus on sustainable urban mobility, improved transport planning and integrated regional connectivity. Once completed, it will serve as a critical transportation link that benefits residents, businesses and intercity travelers across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
