Planning and Development Board Punjab has approved development schemes worth Rs14 billion during the 54th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party for FY 2025–26, held at the Civil Secretariat Lahore. The meeting was chaired by Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf and covered projects across infrastructure, water supply, sanitation, and technology. Major approvals include road construction from Habibabad to Shergarh in Kasur, establishment of CERT and DR data centers, and multiple rural water supply and sanitation projects in Pakpattan, Bhakkar, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Sargodha, and other districts. The meeting also approved position papers on artificial intelligence for governance, digitization of food supply chains, MIS reporting, and data system integration to improve public service delivery and planning efficiency.
