Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role located in Punjab, Pakistan. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), assist in the estimation of project costs, and support budgeting for construction, maintenance, and development works within wildlife reserves and parks. Daily tasks include monitoring project expenditures, tracking variations, updating cost plans, and preparing regular cost reports for management. The role involves coordinating with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate quantity take-offs, contract compliance, and effective cost control. The Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to tender documentation, evaluation of contractor claims, and the implementation of financial controls aligned with departmental policies and regulations.
Requirements
Strong cost planning and cost management skills, including experience with budgeting and forecasting for infrastructure or construction projects.
Proficiency in cost control and cost reporting, with the ability to monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and produce clear financial summaries.
Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and measurement of works according to standard methods of measurement.
Relevant academic qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
Familiarity with tendering processes, contract administration, and basic procurement procedures in the public or construction sector.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work on-site in various park and wildlife locations within Punjab.
