Lahore: TEPA Chief Engineer Iqrar Hussain has said that the city’s major development project, launched in October 2025, is progressing according to schedule with an estimated cost of Rs. 2.45 billion. According to officials, around 78 percent of the allocated funds have already been utilized, while the remaining work is on track for completion by October 9, 2026. The project reflects continued investment in Lahore’s urban infrastructure and transport-related development. Timely completion can improve public mobility, reduce civic pressure, support commercial activity, and increase confidence in nearby real estate and business zones. Strong execution will also be important for public trust in large-scale city projects. Can this project improve Lahore’s urban connectivity?
