Punjab Approves AI-Enabled OxyGenix Tree Technology to Fight Smog

Lahore: The Punjab government has approved the deployment of OxyGenix Tree technology to combat air pollution and smog. Developed by Terra Spark, the system uses microalgae and Artificial Intelligence to absorb harmful particles, increase oxygen levels, and provide real-time Air Quality Index (AQI) data. The project has received certification from Punjab EPA. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has described it as an important step towards improving air quality and public health in the province.
