Karachi: The Sindh government has allocated Rs26.25 crore for the improvement of business centers and markets in Karachi under the provincial budget, according to official reports. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced that a total of Rs100.19 billion has been earmarked specifically for Karachi’s development. The budget includes major investments across infrastructure, traffic management, sanitation, water supply, and education sectors, reflecting a broad urban development strategy. Officials say the initiative aims to improve commercial activity, upgrade market facilities, and support economic growth in the province’s largest city. Experts believe that improved market infrastructure can enhance business efficiency, attract investment, and boost property and commercial value in key urban zones.
