LAHORE – Divisional Superintendent (DS) Railway Lahore, Inam Ullah, conducted an extensive inspection of washing lines, diesel sheds, and the heavy repair shop to ensure operational efficiency and safety of trains. The review included all washing pits, locomotives’ fitness, repairs, in/out operations, and coordination between the washing lines and diesel sheds. DS Inam Ullah issued directives to officers to maintain coaches and locomotives according to safety standards, guaranteeing timely train arrivals and departures. Senior mechanical and electrical engineers, along with executive officers, accompanied him to oversee compliance. The visit aligns with the Railway Minister’s vision to provide passengers with safe, comfortable, and high-quality travel services while enhancing overall operational management across Lahore railway facilities.
