DG LDA Tahir Farooq Reviews Data Darbar Expansion and Under-Construction Bhatti Chowk Underpass Projects

LAHORE – DG LDA Tahir Farooq visited the ongoing Data Darbar Expansion Project and Bhatti Chowk Underpass to review progress and construction quality. Chief Engineer TEPA Iqrar Hussain and the Project Director briefed him on the current status. At Data Darbar, finishing works continue at the piazza and underground pedestrian underpass, while parking and toilet blocks are simultaneously being completed. Teams are also working on property upgrades in surrounding areas. At the Bhatti Chowk Underpass, excavation is complete with bed preparation and NJ barrier installation ongoing. DG LDA directed that construction speed be increased and quality ensured to meet 100% standards. All works are proceeding day and night to expedite completion.
