Muharram Preparations: Lahore Police Conduct Operational Checks at Imam Bargahs

LAHORE – DIG Operations Faisal Kamran conducted a detailed review of security and operational arrangements in Lahore ahead of Muharram. Visits included Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Batul Shadman and Model Town Imam Bargah, where the route maps for processions were inspected. Faisal Kamran met with organizers to discuss security requirements and coordination measures. Lahore Police confirmed that all logistics and safety arrangements have been finalized to ensure seamless and secure management of majalis and processions, consistent with last year’s standards. Officers will maintain continuous communication with procession organizers, while security measures, crowd control, and emergency response capabilities have been reinforced across the city to safeguard participants and residents.
