Punjab Revenue Authority intensifies crackdown on tax defaulters

Lahore: Punjab Revenue Authority has decided to further accelerate and strengthen actions against tax defaulters following a high-level review meeting chaired by Chairman Muazzam Iqbal Supra. The authority reviewed service sector revenue targets and emphasized stricter monitoring of tax evasion through intelligence-based operations. Officials have directed field formations to enhance digitalization, promote e-filing, and effectively utilize databases to increase tax collection. This move under the Governance & Policy Cluster reflects a strong Government Policy aimed at improving revenue systems and promoting a cashless economy.
