LDA seals 92 illegal commercial properties in Lahore crackdown

Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority has intensified its ongoing crackdown against illegal commercial activities, sealing 92 properties across multiple areas under its controlled jurisdiction. The operation was conducted in Johar Town, Gulshan Ravi, New Muslim Town, Canal Road, Ataturk Block New Garden Town, Allama Iqbal Town, and Sabzazar. Officials stated that properties were sealed due to unauthorized commercial use and non-payment of commercialization fees. A variety of establishments including schools, workshops, restaurants, shops, and offices were affected. Authorities emphasized that strict enforcement actions will continue without discrimination to regulate urban development, ensure compliance with building laws, and maintain planned commercial activities across Lahore.
