Lahore: DIG Traffic Punjab Muhammad Waqas Nazir has assumed additional charge as Chief Traffic Officer Lahore, pledging to further improve the city’s traffic management system. He stated that uninterrupted facilities will be provided to citizens, with a focus on enhancing traffic flow and ensuring road safety. Authorities also announced strict action against beggars at traffic signals to create a more organized and secure commuting environment. Officials emphasized the use of modern strategies and effective enforcement to manage congestion and improve discipline on roads.
