No compromise on quality and transparency in Lahore Development Programme, says DC

Lahore: Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (r) Muhammad Ali Ejaz reviewed multiple schemes under the Lahore Development Programme during a visit to Raiwind. Officials briefed him that 17 out of 60 schemes under Phase II have been completed, including street construction, drainage upgrades and water supply improvements. Accompanied by representatives of WASA, LWMC and NESPAK, the DC inspected work quality on site and directed authorities to ensure strict adherence to timelines, transparency and durability standards. He emphasised that no compromise would be tolerated in construction quality, adding that NESPAK has been tasked with close monitoring to guarantee sustainable infrastructure and proper utilisation of public funds for long-term urban improvement.
