CDA Sells Plots Worth Nearly Rs15bn in First Two Days of Auction

Capital Development Authority (CDA) recorded strong investor interest during the first two days of its ongoing auction of residential and commercial plots in Islamabad, with total proceeds reaching Rs14.809 billion. The auction, supervised by Member Finance Tahir Naeem and the auction committee, is being held at the Jinnah Convention Centre and will continue until December 24. On the second day alone, plots worth Rs1.28 billion were sold, including high-value properties in Sector D-12 Markaz and F-10/3. Earlier, prime plots in the Blue Area fetched major bids. CDA has offered incentives such as dollar-payment rebates and early-payment discounts, with auction proceeds earmarked for development and infrastructure upgrades in the federal capital.
