Karachi: The Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Karachi has issued special directives to safeguard workers amid the ongoing heatwave. Outdoor work will be suspended daily from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm to minimize risks of heat-related illnesses. Employers are instructed to provide shaded rest areas, clean drinking water, and other necessary safety measures for labourers.
