State Bank Declares July 1 as Bank Holiday Across Pakistan

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has declared July 1, 2026, as a bank holiday across the country. All banks, development financial institutions, and microfinance banks will remain closed for public transactions on this day. However, bank staff will report to their offices as usual. The holiday has been declared to facilitate the smooth transition of the new fiscal year.
