Six-year road damage at Lahore’s Sabzazar Nadra Chowk keeps residents in trouble

Lahore: Residents near Nadra Chowk in Sabzazar F Block say the local road has remained in a badly damaged condition for nearly six years, creating daily problems for commuters and area residents. Deep potholes have disrupted traffic flow, while motorcyclists, car drivers, rickshaw operators, and loader vehicles all face difficulty passing through the road. Citizens say the broken surface also causes dust in dry weather, while rainwater collects in the potholes during showers, making the situation even worse. Locals claim they have repeatedly submitted complaints, but no effective repair work has been carried out. The damaged road affects mobility, public safety, nearby businesses, and neighborhood livability. Will authorities finally repair this long-neglected road?
