Sewerage Issues Create Safety Risks at Shadman Underpass

Severe sewerage issues have emerged at the Shadman Underpass, raising serious safety concerns for commuters and nearby residents. Several manhole covers installed on the sewerage line have reportedly been stolen over the past 20 days, leaving open holes along the underpass, particularly on the route from Shadman toward China Chowk. Residents warn that the uncovered manholes pose a major risk, especially during nighttime when visibility is low and vehicles travel at high speeds. Citizens claim that despite repeated complaints, no effective action has been taken by the concerned authorities to repair the sewerage system or replace the missing covers. The situation threatens daily traffic flow, public safety, and the usability of critical urban infrastructure in the area.
