Rs. 18bn Development Projects Underway in Gujrat City

GUJRAT : Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, reviewed ongoing development projects worth Rs. 18 billion in Gujrat during a city visit. He inaugurated the newly constructed Jalalpur Jattan Road and inspected progress on major schemes, including a six-kilometre dual carriageway from Gujrat to the University of Gujrat, sewerage upgrades, bridges, and drainage infrastructure. Officials said a world-class sewerage system is under construction and will be completed within two years. The minister directed departments to ensure timely, transparent, and quality completion ahead of the monsoon season to prevent flooding.
