Lahore: The Meteorological Department has forecast rain, strong winds and thunderstorms in Lahore and across Punjab starting from April 1, as a western weather system enters the country through Balochistan. Officials stated that the system will affect multiple regions including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Islamabad, bringing widespread rainfall along with chances of hailstorms in some areas. In Lahore, partly cloudy weather is expected initially, followed by intermittent rain and gusty winds over the coming days. The rain spell is likely to continue until April 4, with occasional showers possibly extending beyond that date.
