Punjab reviews progress of Rs15 billion Jinnah Institute of Cardiology project in Lahore

Lahore: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique visited the under-construction Jinnah Institute of Cardiology (JIC) in Lahore to review the progress of the project. Officials from IDAP and other departments briefed him on ongoing development activities. The minister stated that the emergency and OPD services of the hospital will soon be opened for the public. The state-of-the-art cardiac facility is being developed at a cost of over Rs15 billion and aims to provide international-standard healthcare services. Authorities highlighted that the hospital will offer advanced surgical facilities, operation theatres and modern treatment options for heart patients. The project is expected to benefit thousands of patients across Punjab and strengthen the province’s healthcare infrastructure.
