Punjab PDWP Approves Rs 14 Billion for Development Schemes

The Punjab Planning and Development Board has approved Rs 14 billion for multiple development schemes during the 52nd meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) for FY 2025–26.Chaired by Dr. Naeem Rauf, the meeting reviewed and cleared major projects across health, infrastructure, and municipal sectors. Key approvals include Rs 10.7 billion for establishing a Teaching Hospital in Sialkot and Rs 3.15 billion for the chairlift system and related infrastructure in Kotli Sattian.The PDWP also approved sending the revised Lahore Water & Wastewater Management Project, worth Rs 32 billion, to ECNEC for final approval.Senior officials, including the Secretary P&D Board, Chief Economist, P&D Members, and relevant departments, participated in the session to finalize the development agenda.
