Punjab Govt Conducts Balloting for 3-Marla Plots Under Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Scheme

Lahore: The Punjab Housing Department conducted the official balloting for 3-marla residential plots under the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” scheme during a press conference led by Provincial Minister for Housing Bilal Yaseen. The minister personally oversaw the computerized draw and made direct phone calls to selected beneficiaries, informing them of their plot numbers and locations. The initiative aims to provide affordable housing opportunities to low-income families across the province. Officials stated that the transparent balloting process ensures merit-based allocation without political influence. Beneficiaries will also be eligible to apply for interest-free loans to construct their homes under the government’s housing support framework.
