Punjab government decides to establish new Small Industrial Estate in Sahiwal

Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to establish a new Small Industrial Estate in Sahiwal to meet growing industrial demand in the region. The decision was discussed in a meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain. Officials reviewed various options for selecting suitable land for the new estate. Authorities stated that the existing Small Industrial Estate in Sahiwal is already fully occupied, hosting industries related to flour, rice, automobile parts, dairy products and food processing. The new industrial estate aims to facilitate investors and industrialists who are interested in setting up new factories. The project is expected to create employment opportunities and boost economic activity in the region. Officials said the land selection process will be completed within two weeks to accelerate the project’s implementation.
