Multan: The Punjab Chief Minister has approved Rs 4.343 billion for the construction and rehabilitation of 13 major roads in Multan. The initiative aims to improve traffic flow, enhance connectivity, and upgrade deteriorating road infrastructure across key urban corridors. Officials stated that the project will facilitate smoother daily commuting, reduce congestion, and strengthen commercial mobility within the city. Improved road conditions are also expected to support local businesses by enhancing access to markets and residential areas. Authorities said the development aligns with broader provincial infrastructure plans focused on sustainable urban growth and improved public convenience.
