Dubai: Dubai Retail has announced “The Yard”, the first retail and lifestyle destination planned for Palm Jebel Ali, with an opening target set for 2027. According to the company’s official statement, the waterfront destination will span around 70,000 square feet and bring together 26 concepts across retail, dining, wellness, healthcare and family-focused services.
The company says the project is expected to serve around 20,000 residents in surrounding communities. Confirmed brands named in the official release include Waitrose, American Hospital, Piccoli, Jumeirah International Nursery, Bateel Café and Friends Avenue. Dubai Retail also said McLaren Construction L.L.C. is the main contractor for the development.
The Yard is being positioned as a community-focused waterfront destination linked to Palm Jebel Ali’s broader master-planned development. However, the project is still a future opening announcement, and the 2027 timeline, concept mix and full delivery status should be treated as the latest issuer-provided update, not as a completed or already operational facility.
