Islamabad: The Ministry of Interior has imposed a nationwide ban on drones, quadcopters and UAVs until further notice due to rising tensions along the western border. Police and district administrations across provinces, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan, have been directed to enforce the restrictions strictly, with legal action against violators. Sindh has separately announced a two-month ban. Authorities have also advised citizens to avoid gatherings near sensitive locations and report any suspicious drone debris immediately. Officials say the precautionary measure aims to strengthen internal security and prevent misuse of aerial devices during the current heightened security environment across the country.
