Pakistan and Iran Agree to Improve Road and Rail Links for Faster Trade

Islamabad: Pakistan and Iran have agreed to enhance road and rail connectivity to make bilateral trade faster and more efficient. The decision was taken during high-level talks in Islamabad. Both sides also agreed to revive a joint transport committee to resolve cross-border transport issues and reduce delays for trucks and cargo. Pakistani officials stated that improved land links will significantly boost trade volume and create new business opportunities. Iran also appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and stability.
