Islamabad: Pakistan and Denmark have signed a memorandum of understanding under the Strategic Sector Cooperation Programme to strengthen government-to-government collaboration in the energy sector. The agreement was signed by the Secretary Power Division and the Danish Ambassador in the presence of Federal Energy Minister Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari. Under the partnership, Denmark will provide technical assistance to Pakistan for long-term energy planning, effective integration of renewable energy into the national grid, and improved energy efficiency in the industrial sector. The initiative is expected to support cleaner power generation, modern grid management, lower energy waste, and more sustainable industrial growth.
