Lahore: Commissioner Lahore Nauman Yousaf visited Government Elementary Girls School Samanabad, Girls High School Shadman and Wahdat Colony to review ongoing development work aimed at improving school infrastructure.
During the visit, the Commissioner reviewed the construction work in schools and received a briefing from the CEO Education Authority Lahore along with engineers regarding the quality of ongoing projects. Officials informed that new classrooms and additional washrooms are being constructed in 73 schools across Lahore.
According to the briefing, classrooms and washrooms are being developed while keeping student strength and requirements in view. School administrations, school councils and sub-engineers are regularly monitoring the progress of these works.
Commissioner Lahore directed officials to ensure construction quality, complete projects within deadlines and keep under-construction areas safe so students do not face any difficulties. He said the improvement of school infrastructure is being carried out to provide students with better learning environments.
