Multan–Vehari Road Dualization Begins Under CM Punjab Program

MULTAN: Work on the 93.5-kilometre Multan–Vehari Road dualization has officially started under the Chief Minister Punjab Roads Restoration Program. The project aims to improve road safety, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance connectivity between Multan and Vehari, benefiting over 24,000 vehicles traveling daily. Officials from the Communication and Works Department stated that the project includes adding dual lanes, upgrading road surfaces, and installing modern safety features. Construction teams have begun earthwork and pavement preparation, with authorities emphasizing quality standards and timely completion to strengthen South Punjab’s transport infrastructure.
