Metro Bus fare increased by Rs10 in Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi

Pakistan: Authorities have announced an increase in Metro Bus fares in Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi. According to officials, the revised fares will come into effect from March 26. After the increase, the cash fare for Metro Bus travel has been set at Rs40, while passengers using the T-Cash card will pay Rs25 with a discounted rate. Previously, the Metro Bus fare in these cities was Rs30. Officials say the adjustment has been made to manage operational costs while continuing to provide public transport services to commuters.
