Massive Fire Breaks Out at Textile Factory in Rawat Industrial Estate

RAWALPINDI : A large fire erupted at a garment and textile factory along with its warehouse in Rawat Industrial Estate, triggering an hours-long emergency response. More than 45 Rescue 1122 personnel, supported by 13 firefighting vehicles and additional teams from nearby districts, worked to control the blaze. The warehouse reportedly stored quilts, prayer mats, and other textile goods, which caused the fire to spread rapidly. Two security guards present at the site were reported safe. Authorities said the fire could not be fully controlled for several hours and an investigation is underway to determine the cause.
