Major Rs. 49.6 Crore Road Project Approved for Karachi

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has approved a major road rehabilitation project worth Rs. 496 million in District Malir, aimed at improving connectivity and reducing travel time for thousands of commuters. The tender for upgrading the corridor from Gulshan-e-Hadeed to Allah Wali Chowrangi has been issued, marking the start of the execution phase. This key arterial route links major residential neighborhoods with commercial and industrial areas, including the Bin Qasim Industrial Zone and the route leading toward Thatta. The project includes full road resurfacing, improved drainage, lane markings, and the installation of long-lasting infrastructure.
