Major Islamabad Projects Enter Final Phase — T-Chowk, Shaheen & Faizabad

Three major development projects in Islamabad — the T-Chowk Flyover, Shaheen Chowk Underpass, and Faizabad Interchange Remodeling — have entered their final stage with construction progressing rapidly. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the sites and expressed satisfaction with the pace of work. He instructed authorities to widen Loop 1 and Loop 2 at Faizabad to three lanes and to improve landscaping and lighting for better aesthetics. CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed him that 80% of the T-Chowk Flyover is complete and will open in early December. All 70 girders for the Shaheen Chowk Underpass have been installed, while asphalt work continues at Faizabad. These projects are expected to ease congestion, improve traffic flow, and benefit commuters traveling across the twin cities.
