LWMC Starts Night Waste Clearance and Anti-Smog Washing

LAHORE: LWMC CEO Shehryar Arif Khan has directed operational teams to clear temporary waste collection points during the night shift and ensure road washing during both day and night. Washer rickshaws will sprinkle water in streets across union councils, while roadside scraping, wet sweeping and anti-littering activities will be strengthened in markets and commercial areas. The administration also reviewed staff attendance, door-to-door waste collection and the renovation and plantation work at temporary collection points. APP reports confirm that these directions were issued through separate LWMC activities on October 14 and October 20; the supplied October 22 tickers combine both updates.
