LESCO Completes Key Power Projects

The Lahore Electric Supply Company has achieved a major milestone by completing key projects aimed at reducing energy losses and improving electricity transmission across its network. According to LESCO’s planning department, during 2025 the company completed 97 projects focused on reducing losses at the HT line level and 19 power transmission projects, with a total investment of Rs. 1.35 billion. Overall, more than 1,700 loss-reduction initiatives and 67 transmission projects have been finalized at a cost of Rs. 2.36 billion. These measures include system upgrades and infrastructure improvements to ensure stable, secure, and uninterrupted electricity supply. LESCO officials stated that the projects have significantly enhanced system efficiency and reduced consumer complaints, with further upgrades planned in the future.
