LDA to make all property transactions fully digital from July 1, 2026

Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced that all property transactions in its housing schemes will be fully digital starting July 1, 2026. After implementation, property purchases, transfers, and related processes will be conducted entirely through an online platform. LDA officials said the initiative aims to make property dealings more transparent, faster, and secure. The digital system will allow citizens to submit applications, verify documents, pay fees, and complete transfers online, reducing repeated office visits, minimizing record tampering, and preventing unnecessary delays. Citizens, property owners, and dealers are advised to update their records before July 1 to ensure smooth transactions. Experts note that this step will modernize Punjab’s property sector and enhance public service delivery.
