LDA Seals 71 Illegal Commercial Properties in Major Operation

Lahore Development Authority’s Town Planning Wing has carried out a major crackdown against illegal commercial constructions across the city. During the operation, teams demolished multiple unauthorized structures and sealed 71 commercial properties found in violation of LDA bylaws. According to officials, the sealed properties include private schools, clinics, property offices, grocery stores, auto workshops, salons, food points, shops, offices, and various other commercial units. The operation aims to curb illegal commercialization and recover outstanding commercial fees from defaulters. LDA officials stated that such actions will continue without discrimination to restore proper urban planning and prevent unsafe or unauthorized construction activities. The department affirmed its commitment to enforcing building rules strictly across controlled areas.
