LDA seals 125 properties in crackdown on illegal commercial use

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: On the directives of DG LDA Tahir Farooq, the Town Planning Wing launched a major crackdown against illegal commercial activities in LDA-controlled areas, sealing 125 properties across the city. Operations were carried out in Canal Road, Gulshan Ravi, Samanabad, Gulberg, New Garden Town, and PIA Road. Authorities sealed 66 properties in Canal Road, Gulshan Ravi, and Samanabad, while 24 were sealed on PIA Road. Additionally, 20 properties were sealed in Gulberg and New Garden Town over non-payment of commercial fees, and 15 in Sabzazar during recovery operations. The sealed units included schools, bakeries, pharmacies, clinics, stores, salons, workshops, restaurants, and offices. Officials reaffirmed zero tolerance for violations and continued strict enforcement against illegal commercial use.
