On the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Lahore Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza led a grand anti-encroachment operation across the city. Under the supervision of MCL Regulation Officer Kashif Jaleel, the regulation squads removed 881 illegal setups and took down 2,378 banners and flex boards from various markets, roads, and business centers. The DC emphasized that the campaign aims to improve traffic flow and reclaim public spaces. Citizens can register complaints via the DC Office Control Room (0307-0002345). Raza directed all departments to ensure transparency, coordination, and zero tolerance for encroachments, reaffirming the administration’s resolve to make Lahore clean, open, and encroachment-free. The citywide operation will continue until all illegal structures are cleared.
