Lahore Removes 762 Encroachments Under Suthra Punjab Vision

Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Suthra Punjab” vision, a grand anti-encroachment operation continues across Lahore, led by Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza. The operation involves Assistant Commissioners, Metropolitan Corporation Lahore, and LDA/PEA squads. Within the past 24 hours, 762 encroachments were removed and 1,310 banners, posters, and flexes were taken down from various markets, roads, and public spaces. The campaign aims to restore pedestrian pathways, ensure smooth traffic flow, and beautify the city. The Deputy Commissioner instructed teams to maintain zero tolerance, ensure transparency, and continue daily action against illegal advertisements. He reiterated that public spaces are being reclaimed to improve citizens’ quality of life and preserve Lahore’s historic beauty.
