Lahore Administration Intensifies Safety Measures to Ensure Secure Basant Celebrations

Lahore: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, the district administration has accelerated safety measures to ensure secure Basant celebrations across the city. Rooftop inspections are underway, and notices are being issued to buildings and homes with dangerous rooftops. Awareness campaigns are being conducted door-to-door and through safety camps to educate citizens about safe Basant practices. Installation of protective rods on motorcycles is also in progress. Officials have been instructed to immediately identify hazardous rooftops and inform residents of potential risks. Deputy Commissioner Captain Muhammad Ali Ijaz stated that protecting citizens’ lives remains the administration’s top priority.
