Lahore administration enforces new petrol prices, seals violators

Lahore: The district administration has intensified enforcement of newly revised petrol prices across the city on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz. Assistant commissioners conducted inspections of petrol pumps in multiple areas, including Model Town, where several outlets were sealed for selling fuel at old rates. Authorities confirmed that compliance is being ensured in Shalimar, Saddar, Raiwind, Nishtar, and Allama Iqbal Town, while petrol supply remains uninterrupted across Lahore. Officials warned of strict action against profiteering, overcharging, and attempts to create artificial shortages. The administration emphasized that government relief must reach citizens without obstruction, and prompt action will be taken on public complaints to ensure fair pricing and transparency in fuel distribution.
