KP Govt Allocates Rs30 Million for Karak Sports Complex

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated Rs30 million under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the establishment of a sports complex in Karak District. The allocation was shared by District Sports Officer Tanveer during a site visit with Deputy Commissioner Asad Sarwar. Officials reviewed the proposed project location and discussed land availability, legal requirements, and implementation steps. The deputy commissioner directed that an access road from the Indus Highway be included in the project design. Authorities were informed that the total estimated cost of the sports complex is Rs657.169 million, with land acquisition costs exceeding Rs186.879 million. Officials said the project will help provide modern sports facilities and promote healthy activities among the youth of Karak.
