Islamabad to Inaugurate Two Major Road Projects Soon

Islamabad is set to inaugurate two major flyover projects at T-Chowk and Shaheen Chowk in the coming days, subject to the prime minister’s schedule, according to Deputy Director General Environment CDA Irfan Azeem Khan Niazi.Speaking to PTV News, he said the prime minister has emphasized urban beautification and infrastructure upgrades to enhance Islamabad’s livability. The flyovers are aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving the city’s overall outlook.Niazi added that the Interior Minister has directed CDA to focus on both timely completion of projects and enhancement of green spaces, including plantation of flowering and allergy-friendly trees.He noted that the Faizabad remodeling project is in its final stages, involving road widening and loop extensions. Beautification and landscaping work is also underway at major interchanges across the capital.
