Islamabad is set to receive its own Capital House in Sector F-5 after the CDA approved the PC-I of the Rs 3.2 billion project. The approval was granted during a CDA Development Working Party meeting chaired by Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, which cleared multiple mega projects worth over Rs 83 billion. The new Capital House will follow the model of provincial houses in Sindh, Punjab, KP, and Balochistan, replacing scattered government accommodations. CDA plans to complete the facility within two years of commencement. The meeting also approved Rs 3 billion for constructing a 15-storey residential building for government officers, including electrical, mechanical, and horticulture works with a 24-month timeline. Additionally, Rs 635 million was approved for upgrading the Diplomatic Enclave, to be completed in six months.
