Interior minister orders improvements after NADRA centre visit

Lahore: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a surprise visit to the 24/7 NADRA centre at Shimla Pahari, where he expressed concern over overcrowding, long waiting times, and lack of basic facilities. During the visit, he interacted with citizens at various counters and inquired about their experience regarding identity card and documentation processes. Observing issues such as non-functional air conditioning and poor crowd management, the minister directed officials to immediately improve service delivery and enhance facilities. He emphasized better queue management and efficient handling of public complaints, noting that the feedback received from citizens during this visit was not satisfactory compared to previous inspections.
