Heavy Rain Lashes Lahore, Water Accumulation Disrupts Traffic on Canal Road

Lahore: Heavy rain continued across different parts of the provincial capital, with intense showers affecting Canal Road and other localities. Rainwater accumulated on roads at several points, creating difficulties for motorists and slowing traffic movement. The downpour brought a noticeable improvement in the weather, but slippery roads and standing water increased travel risks. The latest spell comes amid continuing monsoon conditions, with recent reporting also warning of an urban-flooding risk for Lahore and other parts of Punjab. Citizens are advised to drive carefully and avoid unnecessary movement through deeply waterlogged areas.
