Gujranwala prepares major Operation Bunyan celebrations

Gujranwala: A District Coordination Committee meeting was held to review arrangements for the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, in Gujranwala and Wazirabad. Chaired by DCC Chairman and MNA Mahmood Bashir Virk and Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed, the meeting discussed rallies, special ceremonies, city branding, national flags, public awareness campaigns and tributes to martyrs. Officials were directed to ensure cleanliness, security, traffic management and public facilities during all events. The district-level planning can improve civic coordination, temporary business activity and movement around major public spaces. Better-managed events also support city image, commercial footfall and local urban confidence. Will these arrangements strengthen civic unity and public participation?
